Started in late 2009, the series has been written up by the NY Times, Comedy Central, MTV, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Fader, Time Out New York, The A.V. Club and more. The series has been nominated for the ECNY’s “Best Web Series” award as have the girls individually — Abbi for illustration and Ilana for stand-up. Broad City is going to be on Comedy Central in early 2014 with Abbi and Ilana slated as Executive Producer alongside Ms. Amy Fucking Poehler.
